ASPIS SA, is seeking to recruit a high competent, energetic individual to join the Quality Control Department in Zervohori as a Quality Control Manager. The successful candidate will work in a pleasant working environment supporting our core business in producing fruit and vegetable juices.
What you will do…
•Implement best quality practices/processes in fruit juice production
•Prepare and execute the Quality Control Plan for all products
•Plan and execute all testing for incoming materials
•Troubleshoot and resolve problems relating to quality control aspects
•Supervise production workers and testing activities to ensure effectiveness and high technical accuracy
•Cooperating and communicating with external laboratories or research institutes in Greece and abroad.
•Good understanding and implementation of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs)
•Well understanding and implementing of the requirements of Quality, Food Safety and Environmental Standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, HACCP, IFS, Global Gap, etc.
•Participates in meetings and report Quality Assurance/Quality Control issues to the QC and QA Manager
•Other duties as assigned by the Corporate Quality Control Director
What is your experience…
•Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or similar
•Capability of applying quality controls in the food industry
•Prior experience in food or pharma industry will be considered as an asset
•Practical knowledge of quality standards linked to food safety and environment (e.g. ISO 9001, 22000, 14001 and IFS/BRC)
•Excellent knowledge of the English language, verbally and written
•Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite
