Ε.J. PAPADOPOULOS S.A. is seeking to employ a talented, experienced, self-motivated

Quality Assurance Specialist

to join the Quality team in Central Office in Athens, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager

The role:

In this position, you will be required to contribute to the implementation of the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards, certification requirements and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures.

As part of the Quality Management team, you will contribute to developing ideas, recommending, supporting, and implementing continuous improvement activities, process and procedure, focusing on optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements as well as with Company and Customer requirements.

How you will contribute: 

  • Contribute to the implementation of all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Contribute to the revision and modification of procedures, technical instructions, and technical data sheets in order to meet the needs of external certification bodies.
  • Participate to the regular internal and process QMS and Food Safety audits across the organization.
  • Undertake continuous training and development and support facilities through training.
  • Maintain a “floor presence” as an auditor of quality throughout the processing facility.
  • Participate in suppliers’ audits.

What you will bring:

  • University Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology or other related field. Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within the food industry.
  • Knowledge both theoretical and practical aspects of Quality Management Systems and processes (ISO 9001, ISO22000, FSSC22000, AIB GMPs) as well as international GMP regulations of food products, will be considered as a plus.
  • Highly credible – both professionally and personally, with an engaging and action orientated approach.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP, Proficient user in MS Office applications.
